CURRICULA RESOURCES ACROSS THE NATION

OVERVIEW:

It is your goal to uncover the wonderful educational Internet resources to be found across our nation.

  1. First examine the final document you will produce, "Curriculum Resource Chart."
  2. Your next step will be to create a resource focus statement.  See below.
  3. Now you will begin to explore New York State by clicking on the state below and finding the link to the State Education Department.  You will examine and refine the sample resources for New York State for your educational focus.
  4. With each new resource you find, you will indicate the URL address and how you maybe able to use this resource.
  5. You will repeat the same process for four additional states Note:  If you find a state does not have sufficient resources, go on to another state.
  6. You will post all your great findings at the Discussion Board within your designated section.  Go to:  http://webclasses.dowling.edu/webapps/login
  7. During your own exploration you are to look for resources for your fellow on-line students.  Therefore, it will be important that you familiarize yourself with their focus statement.   You are to find one resource for two classmates enrolled in this course.   Post your findings at the students' discussion board sites.
